My e36 328i

Here is my 328i, it has simota induction kit, m50 manifold, viscous delete, 3:64 lsd, plus a few extra bits here and there. I have also stripped out everything not needed, ac, abs, traction control etc.
After owning several newer bmws this is by far the most fun one i have had!

I believe those stickers on the windscreen are illegal

i seem to remember a dealer getting pulled for taking a customer for a test drive in a car with the price written on the screen.

Not keen in the slightest on the sticker bombing, but I do approve of the Simota induction kit - the enclosed carbon ones make the engine sound lovely.

Do you track the car? Just wondering why else you would remove the ABS.

The stickers are on the rear screen... Im sure thats legal!
The car doesnt go on track days due to the set up, it does drift days!

They are perfectly legal. it would only be illegal if he were to put them on the front driver/passenger windows & on his windscreen within where the wipers move from side to side.

I like the stickers. Adds character to an otherwise boring interior, and it's a drift slag so who cares!

Suits the bimmer, would look stupid on my Lexus.

Wondering why you went to such lengths to relocate the front numberplate, to a position where it just looks like someone has bought the wrong shape plate in the first place?

Stripped interior doesn't make sense unless bucket seats are on your to-do list. Sticker-bombing is just awful too!

I like the car, very nice motors they are, i like the efforts you have gone to right up to the point you said its a drift car people who get nice cars like this and turn them into drift cars make me sad

Also as someone else mentioned if you are stripping things that arent needed, why do you still have standard seats, an arm rest and door cards etc etc...

Also have a go at removing the sound deadening, that'll keep you entertained for a few days!

Here we go again let's slag off something off because its a bit different. It's a few fking stickers that he likes and he has moved he numberplate so why not! Typical Piston Heads take your crap boring Audi A4 company car, your stty 3 bedroom house on a modern housing estate, go listen to Joe Whiley in your trendy wine bar and finally shove your wky middle management sales managers job up your arss and fk off!

Love the wheels, colour and general look of the car. Not keen on the stickers, number plate and cage but it looks in good nick overall.

Then Mattyc why are you here? I'm sure there are other forums to frequent if you don't like PH.

I guess most of the newish people don't quite get that this started off as a TVR forum and not an all makes. It took on a type of demeanour that doesn't tolerate tacky modifications. It never has and I doubt it ever will.
It also has a rep for people speaking their minds about these type of modifications. Again, if you don't like it you know where the door is.

I'm reasonably old school here and subscribe to the early type of thinking and therefore the 328 on this thread sucks an old boot to me. Bits are nice but generally no. Not to my taste.



So before getting all chopsy, have a think of what type of forum you are at and adjust your manners accordingly. Don't expect us to adjust to you.
