Suzuki 'Suzy' Ignis Sport

Hi guys, names Alex, been a member for a whillllllllllle but this is the first car I've owned which I think is really PH worthy (well, I've had a few Mini's but had them before I could drive).
As you can see, shes an Iggy Sport, names Suzy (yes, I am sad enough to give her a name
) and while only owning her for a couple of days, I have been reminded why I love cars so much.
I'd been without a car for a while, due to my Fiesta being riddled with rust and the gearbox failing on me and ending up in the scrap yard in the sky and while I love most marques and models, at heart I am a Japanese car enthusiast (personally love most things Japanese, from cars to food to anime) so while I wasn't going to turn down a good car, I wanted something from the land of the rising sun to replace it idealy.
I've always been a fan of hot hatches in any form, especilly smaller, 'warm' hatches like the Swift Sport, the Panda 100 HP and of course, the Ignis.
This one I found at a dealers in Chesterfield called Woodleigh, a Fiat and Chevrolet used specialist with 50,000 miles on the clock and up for £2995, so me and my old man had a drive up in his Eunos (I'm going to start a post for that soon too) had a test drive and I fell in love with the little thing so decided to go for it.
She needs a couple of stone chips sorting, a dent in the door pulling out and the Enkei alloys refurbing, but for the time being
They gave it a fresh MOT, new brakes all round and a service and so far shes been brillant.
She needs a couple of stone chips sorting, a dent in the door pulling out and the Enkei alloys refurbing, but for the time being I'm just going to enjoy her and cannot wait to join a couple of the clubs to meet like minded Suzuki fans and also lookin forward to going to some PH meets too

No, I know what you mean, certainly not what you'd call a pretty car, but the design is mistakably Japanese and I like that .Thanks the comments guys, cracking little thing.
Yet to really drive her in anger yet, I need better tyres and better weather for that, buts its so responsive and such a progressive steer, as McDonald's say, I'm lovin it. :P

We also at one point had a grey EF Civic hatch, which was going to be my first car, but had to sell to actually fund my driving lessons, oh the irony.

Nice example. I had one too and thought it was ace. Junior Type-R is a good description! Worth getting some uprated headlamp bulbs if not already and filling it with super unleaded. Really easy to service with the Suzuki service kits as well. Watch the condition of the exhaust backbox hanger as these rot pretty quick.

yes they should, unsure why there black, but will either get they repainted or get some new ones.
