Dealer pics for now! Poor, basic spec but in all honesty couldn't care less. I'm a bit old school in that way, as long as it's got A/C I'm happy!

Great drive, relaxing in traffic and quick when needed! Not used any oil... yet!

I like those seats - I've sat in the tartan (same?) seats in the Golf GTI and found them to be very comfortable. For me (probably) the only two cars currently on sale (Polo GTI and Golf GTI) where I like the cloth at least as much as the leather.

Fun to drive?

Thanks for all your comments. I really love it. I know it's 'only' a Polo GTI but it's seriously one of the best(everyday)cars I've ever driven!
I never considered the Skoda VRS as the looks just didn't do it for me. The SeatCupra looked good too but price wise it was so close to the VW that I just went for the GTI as to me the Polo looked better. It just felt more special.
It's a perfect motor for everyday use- truly!

Not too shabby, the fabias and cupras are nice as well but the interior is nicer in the polo. Just wish it had leather seats.

Nice little motor, horrid nasty tartan though.

Did these engines not have a lot of issues? Oil consumption etc?

They did. With oil. I took a gamble- hope it pays off!!

I love the tartan seats- best part for me!!

I think I've only seen one or two on the road. Do you think these will go the same way as previous Polo GTI and hold their value fairly well? Quite rare really.
