I haven't posted much on this forum before. But I've been a fan of Vauxhalls for years, a few years ago I built a Redtop or XE Corsa b with throttle bodies, which went like this.

After blowing it up a few times I bought a DC2, which I spent a lot of time re-bushing and getting to handle like it should, but I couldn'tget on with it for some reason.
So I sold that last year, and got this.

A Astra Coupe turbo, my plan was to use it till the tax ran out. Then strip it for parts needed to fit it all into a Corsa C.

I've been collecting parts for the past few months, to get it to a spec I'd like.
My main problem came when I took my gearbox to Newbury transmission, to get a Quaife ATB fitted they stripped it down. Then rang me back saying they want £300+vat to put it back together. I tried to tell him I just want the diff fit fitted, but he pretty much wanted to rebuild it, so I collected my box of bits.

It's almost back in one piece.
I picked this little monster up the other week.

Which will make a nice base.
Last weekend I lowered it, fitted a rear anti-roll bar, the brakes off the Astra, and my wheels.

Thanks for reading.
Mike.

Imagine that would go quite well with the engine and gearbox change, would love to drop a c4 vts lump in my saxo but miracles seem quite far off at the moment!
