New Triumph MK1 PI On the road again

After nearly 13 years the old girl passed her MOT last weekend............

Going make her a fast road car, as after 28 years of static car shows I had enough but do still have my other "show car" MK1 PI and a MK1 estate.

Engine bay and interior in the de bumpered are bit untidy yet..........just wanted get her on the road........... here is show car interior and engine but it same engine 2.5 PI and yes sounds lovely. De bumpered as Tan interior but I have fitted Alfa 156 seats in the front.

Love the bonnets on the triumph saloons. The car looks wonderful good job.

The wheels are 15" modification...........had to modify the rostyle trims.....

Looks great. I have a MKII 2500 PI in sapphire blue sitting in the garage. Needs a bit of welding on the sills but apart from that shouldn't need to much work. I love the styling of both the MKI and MKII. Have you retained the mechanical injection? Mine still has the mechanical injection, but with some Lucas bits replaced with Bosch to help with reliability.

The de bumpered still running original Lucas fuel pump and injection set up.......................no issues.....

The "best" PI as a Bosch Prestige Developments set up on it.

Ah. Looks very good on them. My last Mk2 had 14" steel wheels with Rostyles from an early Stag. They carry Minilites well, but the Rostyles are an important part of the PI look, I reckon.
