I reckon there's a few 'what cars' going back a few months from me as I've never had a company car and always opted out and run something else.

Well, with the company mileage rocketing up recently (I did 12,000 in Dec/Jan/Feb in my hired Insignia) I decided that I needed to and that running my 330Ci as a daily was not a good idea at all.

This came up...

It's the 140 version, 'nippy' around town but not the best for overtaking and speeding up on the motorway etc but I'm happy with it and the main thing is it's comfortable.

Standard spec includes heated leather, sat-nav, bluetooth, DAB, all round parking sensors, SD card slot, iPod dock, DSG box etc.

BIK comes in at around £320 per month fully fueled so it's not the cheapest on CC tax but I do a lot of personal miles also and I'm saving that each month over using the 330 at the weekend for long trips etc so that was the logic behind it (without getting into the CC tax vs allowance argument).

I also have a proven track record with stone chipped screens, tyre punctures etc so having it insured, taxed, run, tyres replaced etc etc means I have a true no-worries car to knock about in.

I also happen to think it looks really smart.

Still have the 330...

But given it's due tax and insurance I'm seriously considering selling.

Very nice CC and also 330. A tough decision whether to keep it or not though, due to the tax and insurance. Just need to decide whether or not the fun out weighs the cons!! smile

2002 330Ci Convertible with circa 70k miles. All the usual 330 stuff, electric memory seats, auto headlights/wipers, parking sensors, headlight washers. No optional extras as far as I know i.e. no sat-nav/tv.

Manual gearbox. Drop me a PM if you are interested in chatting. Brother is a BMW mechanic so it's had all the usual new heating system/thermostat that you would want to do as a matter of course at this age.

Didn't you lease a 635d or did I imagine it?

That looks great. Very sleek and elegant. The new VW front-end treatment seems to work well on the CC. It's one of the few modern cars where the facelift looks better than the original!

I might have missed this in the writeup but - is it petrol or diesel?

Any issues with headroom in the front or rear?

I have a Passat CC 170 DSG. Had it 4 months (3500 miles) and I'm really enjoying it actually. Great everyday car.
