CLK 55 AMG Cabrio: Further impressions

Previously posted on this in Nov 12 and now 5 months in and more used to it. It is a 2006 W209 CLK 55 Cabrio.
Plus points-less thirsty than anticipated, amazing 27mpg on run to N Wales (about 400 mile round trip-mainly motorway) at c.80mph steady. Urban 22-23 with care, town 16. Reliable, nothing broken or stopped working, heated seats a godsend in the neverending winter. Like previous owner, I find it a quicker car than I first thought, I think the auto box takes a bit of getting used to compared to manual. It handles well but nearly lost it on black ice about a month ago, fortunately had a brand new set of Potenzas on back (advised these last 6-8,000)and just as I thought I would hit central barrier, some grip was found and disaster averted.
Minus points-too easy to knock the paddle shift coming out of roundabout and find the car in 1st like an old lady driving. Rear vision not great and still finding it difficult to park precisely-the sensors tend to cry wolf.
