1998 Mini Cooper MPi

Had her for a few months now, gotten the Mini bug. Love it so far! Been using it as my daily driver racking up about 30 miles a day. Absolutely brilliant both around town and on country lanes.







Upgrades are coming on it very soon. I have just received a set of body coloured arches from Spray Shack, a 1 7/8" single box exhaust from Maniflow and am picking up 12x5" Superlite wheels in anthracite.

It's actually pretty good, slight bit of rust on the headlamp bit that's all, easily replaced. It's had new a-panels fitted previously, and some other panels over the years. Theres a bit of bubbling on one of the doors but it's very minor, all been waxoyed so hopefully wont get any worse. Underneath there are some spots of surface rust, again nothing major and it's all been coated.

Very cool and looks to be in great condition; a friend of mine owns a Mini Ritz, 1984 which is brilliant fun.

really like the standard arches being body coloured, Tahiti blue is a classic colour now and just looks right on a mini.

I think the cars themselves are really over priced now though, they're too 'cool' and the insurance for young drivers has probably put demand up.

6 years ago I bought a '95 1.3 mini with no rust for £1250!

Parts still very cheap! They're overpriced in the way that many 'classic' cars are, worth much more than the sum of their parts!

Couple more changes, grille spot lights removed, pressed plates fitted.
