Ooh thank you - you've no idea how good that makes me feel! Ok so here are a few more:-

Still lots of things I would like to do better one day - like maybe a carbon dash (and not my badly done vinyl version!)and maybe some different alloys. But happy with it so far. Used to have tan coloured dash and tan leather seats that looked fairly horrible - so very pleased to see them gone for this season!

I think the wheels on it look pretty cool, they fit the 1980s theme with the Cosworth engine. I would have thought myself that a NA engine in a car like this would be preferable to turbocharged, as the linear power delivery would make it a more involving drive, not having to worry about a boost spike mid corner that could spit you off the road etc.

235? I bet that goes!
How hard is it to wire the digidash?
Wiring digi dash quite easy really. Even adding all the various senders straight forward. Use heat shrink butt connectors to join wires. More of a problem was sorting out the existing wiring behind dash! Make sure you label everything if you ever take a dash out! Otherwise you'll spend hours studying the wiring diagrams and tracing the various coloured wires! How hard is it to wire the digidash?
Only got some old footage on YouTube with horror interior but I'll try to find it and put a link up.

Currently in the process of doing some tidying up on my loom and replacing the dash. Ive got labels on my labels!Only got some old footage on YouTube with horror interior but I'll try to find it and put a link up.
Here's one, sorry for non existent view and horrible old dash. I made this video mainly to record the sound of the engine and gearbox whilst driving on ordinary roads:-

Found a better video. In this one I attached a traffic cam to the roll bar but recorded sound on my iPhone - tried to sync them together but it doesn't really work very well. Oh well, you get an idea though...

Stunning, it's one of those things I really want to get myself. Even just temporary to experience the thrills of owning a kit car. The noise, seeing the suspension doing its work and the wind in your hair! Not too sure about the indicator warning sound
but I guess it serves a purpose

Genuine question - what's the point of using a Cosworth lump without the turbo? is it just the easiest way to get a 16v 2ltr IL4? Wouldn't the late Sierra IL4 with a RS2000 head be the same?
It's a nice toy anyway
Well, again it's personal preference but my YB with it's 12.5:1 CR (it uses a Sierra diesel starter motor to overcome the high compression) is very efficient / reliable and has more power than the factory turbo version which had about 220bhp (as I remember) without the associated turbo lag - and this makes it a joy to use as it pulls strongly from low revs. Of course you could crank up the boost and there are videos on youtube of YB's producing 750bhp or more. I don't think they'd last long though... The YB is in fact really well suited to N/A although the head needs some serious modifications in order for it to work. The YB can when fully modified in N/A form produce levels of power and reliability matched by few other engines of similar design. It's not very light but it is extremely strong and can rev to very high rpm (9,000+) and still be considered virtually unbreakable (if using the right bits). My one uses Kent L1 cams on inlet and exhaust which have 306 degrees duration which is fairly moderate tuning. It could be tuned with more aggressive cams and associated timing and 9K of revs and get quite a bit more HP quite easily and reliably - but I don't want to go there as it's scary enough and I haven't got the balls to give it full throttle for more than a few seconds as it is in such a light car! I honestly think though that it's one of the best engines ever produced, and for me on carbs, it has a bit more character too. It's a nice toy anyway
