Its running about 420bhp at the moment. Its had some mods done since it was mapped though, so if it was tweaked now it would get about 470.
I'm going to upgrade the injectors and fuel pump first though, then it will clear 500.

I have a real soft spot for these and that one in particular looks amazing.

Is it a daily driver with that state of tune?

Yeah you can drive them every day no problem!
They are very easy to drive around town, I prefer it to lower powered cars as the torque makes it so effortless.
You can drive junctions in 3rd or 4th rather than 2nd, change from 2nd to 4th etc so less changes all the time.
SAme on the road too, cruising at 80 on 6th you can floor it without changing down and still get pushed back in your seat as it comes on boost. It's effortless power when you need it!

Predictably I very nearly drove straight through a roundabout letching at it.

Cracking car. I have a childish fantasy to get a b7 rs4. I've watched the video of the supercharged one on the mrc site about 100 times.

If you want the performance you need a B5, unless you supercharge the B7 it just isn't as quick.
I like the B7 looks wise, but its got the wrong engine for me!
V6 and a pair of turbos will always get my vote over an N/A V8.
The cost of supercharging a B7 is rediculous too
