As it's been over a year since I last posted the orginal readers cars thread about the GTA, thought I'd wack up a new thread listing all what i've done to her etc.

I fancied doing something a little different with my GTA after I thought long and hard to mod her or not so below is a quick sumary of what's been done etc.

Brake Setup.
- PF pads followed by Pagid RS14 pads.
- ATE fluid.
- Braided hoses.

Suspension Setup.
- BC Racing BR coilovers.
- Powerflexed upper and lower front wishbones.
- Powerflexed rear transverse arms.
- Eibach ARBs front and rear.

Gearbox.
- Quaife diff.
- Uprated organic clutch.

Intake.
- ACT carbon plenum.
- Ferrari 430TB.
- BMC CDA.

Exhaust.
- Catless front manifolds.
- Custom downpipes.
- 100 cell sports cat in replace for the two cats.
- Small silencer.
- Wizard catback system.

I had put the car up for sale over a month ago once I had her sorted and because I was getting bored of the car too, but after looking around everywhere for a replacement, I just couldn't find anything that interested me or engaged me as much as the GTA does.

Here are some photo's which or new enough.

Flying the PH sticker as always.

And up the test hill at Auto Italia @ Brooklands last weekend biggrin

Also a small video clip going up the hill @ Brooklands.

Looks absolutely brilliant, and some pretty good mods too. Do you have any idea how much power it makes with the modified intake/exhaust systems?

Yes, that engine bay is bloody fantastic!

Shame I can't watch the video to hear it until I get home, but I don't expect it to disappoint

Love the engine on these, and the car itself is beautifull. Pretty quick too, did the quaiffe diff make a big difference?

Considering one of these plenums for my GTV, has it changed the induction noise at all?

These are actually really quick for what a hot hatch is smile

The car shoulda left the factory with the diff in my view, you can get on the power nice and early and feel the front end pull you round, bit like an RS Megane.

I really really do recommend the plenum, I've not heard the intake from outside the car till today when someone posted a video of the GTA going up the hill @ Brooklands, very much has that M3 CSL intake roar redface

I really didn't like these when they first came out, however age has shown me to appreciate all things Alfa Romeo and that example is stunning.

Love it, they look mean and beautiful all at the same time, only something Alfa could achieve
