My ST205 Toyota Celica GT4

Hi everyone, thought I'd share my 1998 Celica GT4 with you. Let me know what you think! 
info:
2.0 litre Turbo 3S-GTE engine
AWD
78k miles
1998 late spec model
mods:
Full custom blueflame decat exhaust
Drilled and grooved disks, with freshly refurbed calipers
HKS Super sequential blow off valve. (I always say that in a mock Jap accent to amuse myself haha)
Blitz Sonic Induction kit
Tein Springs
KYB shocks
Aerospeed RS5 wheels
Turbo timer
Boost controller

Ran a 13.9 second quarter mile at 101mph with a best first 60ft time of 1.9 secs
The clutch went on the line at the RWYB event, no longer able to launch the car so pulled out after 12 runs. Luckily it was still driveable, but slipped at high revs. So, i had two choices. 1. Quick fix with another standard clutch, or 2. Nurse the car around carefully turn down the boost and save for a racing clutch and flywheel. After i found out the process of replacing a clutch on a GT4, i went for option 2 as option 1 would have cost a bomb anyways! Lol
So, on June 24th 2011 the parts arrived.

I have had a few things done such as both front suspension arms, new rear diff mount and a full new set of brake pipes fitted as they were corroded to hell. Also got through the MOT with flying colours and the tester wanted to buy the 4! Safe to say she's running sweet as a nut! Lol

tty corroded Aerospeeds! *cue fanfare*
It was soul destroying spending 3 hours on detailing and the car still not looking spotless because of the wheels...but no more!
So, I got on to Revolution wheels and had a set of their Millenium rally wheels ordered to be made. I couldn't recommend them more, they give you first class service. I got constant updates and the wheels came to me via courier as soon as the manufacturing process was complete.
Went for 17x8 in white, wheel sealed them twice before I put them on using Rim wax (great product)
Got them wrapped in Pirelli P6000 rubber and as soon as I got them on I had to tyre shine them :P
Stored my old crap wheels on my Dad's farm and took a couple of pics
Good idea...not the best execution. Will have another try sometime lol
Great weather today for some cleaning and detailing, so I got to it!
Oh...and I went to a local meet and attracted a little bit of attention...
A bit of autotesting
Here's how my centre console used to look with the old Pioneer tunebox!
Here's how it looks with the new Sony Head unit, bobby bargain at £80 in the Halfords sale!
All my other lights in the dash heater, speedo etc are blue (fitted by previous owner) so now I look like Brian O'Connor at night... '2 fast 2 furious I'm too fast for ya'll maan!'

Track day prep and GT4OC meets
Gear selection issues sorted, engine management problem sorted, new alternator and PAS belts also needed done.
Also went to my first GT4OC meet last weekend, was a great run out.
Been off work this week too so thought I would sort out my bonnet grille, was going to respray it but heard you can get them brand new from Toyota for £40 and you get new rubber seals on it which you wouldn't by spraying.

Got back from Jedburgh and decided to have a blat around Carlisle with my mates one in a GT4 and one in a 3.2 V6 Audi A3. The three of us blasting around together made a very nice (but loud) noise! Ha
Then fitted a new bonnet vent to my Celica yesterday, looks 10x better in my opinion!

New EBC turbo groove disks and yellow stuff pads
Then found out front caliper was seized, so fk it swapped both front calipers for reconditoned units. Pedal bite is very sharp now! 
Finally swapped onto my old Aerospeeds as they had T1-R tyres in good nick and got those re-balanced and a wheel alignment done.
Photographer got some great shots so I bought the DVD of the pics. Best ones below.
And that brings us up to date! Lol now I'm just doing shows and meets over summer and will try to get back on track before the years out.

excellent cars, if a little expensive to run, but boy do they go, stop and handle.
miss mine like crazy. mine did 13.1s and 106mph on the 1/4m, 155mph at bruntingthorpe and 0-60 in 4.7s in the wet all timed by Jap Performance magazine.
look after it and you have a future classic there!

Lovely car dude! Really liking those wheels... I recognise this from the GT4OC. I've got an ST205 myself and was signed up to the OC, but haven't renewed in a while.
What were your gear selection issues btw? I've got a slight issue with mine feeling like its sticking in gear when I attempt to change gear. Thanks!

Hello fellow GT-Four owner!
Nice car, nice to see someone who agrees with me in preferring the "vanilla" bonnet vents rather than the metal ones with the logos in! I think they cheapen the car a bit.
Loving the wheels, although I do think perhaps a darker wheel would look better on a silver car - black or anthracite?
