High Miles 2003 E60 BMW
Discussion
Bought this yesterday for comfortably under £3000.

2003 530d SE, dark blue metallic, grey leather, auto, full history, brand new engine fitted by BMW in 2008 at a cost of £8,500, 161,000 miles.
Am actually pleasantly surprised by it. The early ones tend to get a knocking by the e39 brigade for build quality, but i'm genuine impressed. Not a clunk or rattle to be heard and none of the leather wear i'd associate with this sort of miles. Gearbox is tight and engine is smooth and fast. Paintwork is shiny and deep. No evidence of any repaired panel damage. Alloys are in good condition too.
Downside is that its a tiny bit lumpy if you rev it when its stone cold for the first minute or so - probably injector wear so that might addressed at some point, but its nothing i'm worried about.
Well pleased.
