These two are the recent car and bike i have aquired.

BMW M3 Convertible (52), 72K miles, SMG2, CSL alloys.



Honda CBR1000rr-8 (08), 8K miles, Akrapovic exhaust.

Lovely pair. One of my friends had a Fireblade that looked like that, I think his was a 10 plate. Ended up written off with a badly kinked frame when it landed seat-first on a wall after an 85 old bloke in a Volvo punted him off it because he could barely see where he was going.

Crushed hand, nothing broken but he had ligament or tendon damage or some such and couldn't open or close his hand with any strength, off work for about 4 months as he is a butcher. He got off lucky though, he was dragged under the car and managed to boot himself free as the car pulled him down the road, which is handy as right before he got free his left foot was being dragged up into the wheel arch by the spinning wheel of the car, which would have ended badly. He got off lucky though, his leathers, white and black to match his Fireblade, had a very clear tyre mark over the rear abdomen - not really sure how he didn't end up with all sorts of injuries from that.

The most annoying bit is that he identified the bloke as a hazardous driver before he got taken out, he even tucked in closer to the car in front, and the nearside of the road, but the old guy did a big banana overtake, gaining speed in a straight line behind the car he was overtaking, and managed to drive straight over my friend in the process, as I say, he just couldn't see him. I don't think he was charged with anything but he did stop driving after that.

I have driven the coupe on many occassions but i,m a sucker for that open top feel. I'm never going to track it tbh and the verts are less prone (but not immune)to the rear subframe floor mount/ boot cracking.If track is what you want the M3 for, then i think most people would go for a coupe.

Whoa, glad he's relatively ok. There are some total idiots about and there are some things you really can't cater for, i guess it depends on luck.
