New Car ! Second Car Alfa Romeo Spider 2.2

Hi All,

Thought i would tell you all about my new car.

My first car was an alfa romeo 147 1.6 TI which i passed my test in when i was 18 and had for about 6 months.



And on Thursday i picked up my new car. An Alfa Romeo 2.2 Spider TI.





Think i am the happiest 18 year old in the world right now.

Loving it.

Will upload some more pictures when i stop driving it in this lovely weather!

I absolutely adore these, what a gorgeous car! If i was going to do it it would have to be the 3.2 v6 though... With the top down would be immense.

fk knows how your stomaching insurance, i could get these cars when i was 18 but paying upwards of £2k for insurance just made me think it wasnt worth it.

i am on company insurance so i dont actually pay anything! lucky me.

and i will take some pictures of the interior today and put them on.

Performance wise i think its about 8 seconds to 60 but feels quickest midrange.

Lovely car, but it's an LE not a TI!

Also, remove or replace the wheel arch protectors, they've discoloured and look st.


Otherwise, that's a lovely car congrats.
