Hi Guys,
I recently changed my Mazda RX8 for something a little more refined.....and got myself a BMW 5 series E60.

had it a couple of months now and so far have fitted a set of M6 Wheels and a cherished plate, although i have big plans,

hoping to fit either an M sport kit or an AC Schnitzer kit in the near future and window tints all around for starters smile

here are a couple of HDR shots from a weekend away in Canterbury.

Looks nice, just one thing to note my dad had the ac schnitzer body kit on his X5 and it made his insurance ridiculous

i really like that. Most of the latest BMWs are so anonymous looking, especially the most recent 5!

Looks great, but wheels look horrible.. a set of 19" 172 Spiders would have looked alot better in my opinion

Very nice. Think the M6 wheels just bring it up to date that little bit.

I do love the E60. I really miss my 530D, but it had so many electrical gremlins I had to let it go. Its one of the few cars i managed to make a profit on.

Is it petrol or diesel?

I do agree that the 172 spiders look better than the 6 series though. I was going to buy a set for mine but the cost was so high!

its the petrol.

I do really like the spiders, although as you say they are so expensive, and also they are fairly common, I wanted something that was a little different.

I am planning to paint them at a later date, probably gloss black, and am contemplating having the car wrapped in matt black

I think the wheels suit it, could do with a slight drop in ride height

Not a huge fan of the alloys or rear valance, but you can't knock an E60 smile

Those wheels certainly make it look more agressive. I do prefer the sport versions but this shows what a difference a set of decent wheels can do.

Shame that all the cheap SE's in my price range, have shocking specs and all over the 130k on the mileage.
