Hello all,

Sifting though a few photo's and thought I'd put up a few of my GT3 RS - had it a year now and love the thing - best car I've very owned:

The picture looking along your street with all the drab blacks/greys etc which all cars seem to be today just makes the Porsche look so purposeful, so out there and makes me want to play Forza because it's as close as I'll get hehe

Looks lovely OP lick

Lovely car ... but so many out there crashed on track and repaired ... is yours original?

Lovely car. I got a couple of snaps of it at the Silverstone SS a while back.

Thanks for the comments - It's an amazing car & just works so well with what I want to get out of a car - can cross continents easily, but at a flick of a switch (or three) it becomes a race car biggrin

Car is totally original and I had it carefully checked out before buying. Y9 SAW with us in the above photos is a mate on PH and was very cautious in buying his also - some horror stories out there.

What kind of horror stories? Hidden track-damage?

smokin love the 997 Gt3's. Did the Gt3's suffer the same problems as the normal 997's.

The GT3's are mechanically bombproof.

No, completely different 3.6 engine, I believe this shares it's block with the old 911 GT1 racer (correct me if I am wrong)

Absolutely stunning car, much prefer the gen 1 to the gen 2 997 RS.

While I was doing my research on various cars I only had to look at a few threads on PH to pick up at least one person who had unwittingly brought a track crashed & repaired RS - really Made me extra cautious on purchase.

That aside - the car I have is quite something else; the speed, the handling, the noise - it's like a grown up Exige, but with a dual-personality that also makes if a great GT car. As Zi said - the best car I've owned (and I've had the full spread of crazy cars) and definitely a keeper! biggrin

Being a bit dull inside? Lol

Love the car, its on the list of cars I'll get to maybe in green however.

Saw a bright blue rs but I guess that's a gen 3?

Great choice, I remember following your Exige on a run up to a Silverstone SS from Beaconsfield services that you'd organised. Is this an addition to the Cobra and Exige we talked about?

Superb and much more how I like my GT models. A million time better than the one CH drove last week.

Congrats smile
