Looking for my old E39 M5

Having sold my E39 M5 back in 2009 I realise what a mistake I made.
Every car I have owned since seems pointless and more of a chore than a pleasure.
I'd quite like to know that my first true love is still out there and if it is being treated with the care and attention I give it.

AC Wheels
Two tone leather
Rose knuckle shifter
Everything else standard

I could easily put the cash together if it was offered or if anybody else has a classic E39 M5 they are looking to get rid of.

Hi,

I am in the exact same situation.

Every other car I have driven - including my m3 - doesn't make me as happy as I was when I had my m5 and that really needs to be addressed.

So I keep scouring the adverts and trying to find another one.

I think it is illogical as other cars are better in most aspects - faster , more cart like, more fuel efficient, lower running costs, but the fact is its quite an emotional thing. I really want another one and hope its not a case of never meet your heroes....

That registration hasn't been live since 2011 but as you imply it may be on a different plate now.
