I purchased my S3 late last year after not being able to decide what car I wanted for a while. I test drove many things and finally settled on this.
A couple of months ago I took it to a detailer local to me who worked his magic on it for me to remove swirl marks and some buffer trails which were there when I bought it. He did an awesome job!
I have some coilovers here waiting to be fitted and then I will begin to start getting a little more power out of it during the next few months.
I will keep this thread updated!

Not an Audi fan really but that looks excellent.

What are the plans for performance modding, just a remap or more?

Lovely in sprint and the detailer looks to have done nice work.

Spec?

Cheers for the nice comments everyone.

Spec wise it's a 2007 model with auto lights/wipers, xenons, Bose sound system. Unfortunately it didn't have the optional bucket seats that I really wanted.

Power wise, I'm looking at full turbo back exhaust with sports cat, new air intake, high pressure fuel pump with an Audi rs4 regulator and a remap. This should see around 350 - 370bhp.
I am considering a different turbo and rs4 injectors which would see 400+Bhp but its starting to get big money at that point so we will have to see if the wife allows haha.

Very nice! They're a great car, a friend of mine used to have one that was around 310 bhp, and it certainly shifted!

Nice car OP.... I had a black 2007 exactly the same in spec remapped to 310 bhp, it was faster than the 911 C2 I have now.

The recaros are not the most comfortable IMHO, I found the outer side bolster a bit sore on the bum whilst getting in and out. They do look nice though!!!!

That is a lovely colour. Will definitely be fun to drive with 350bhp. Enjoy!

Not a fan either, they wear, are a faff to get into and render the rear seat absolutely useless.

Just an update, non of the modifications got carried out on my S3 and the coilovers I had already bought got sold as did the car as my wife got pregnant and I got a panic on thinking my little girl would bankrupt me haha.
So, what I did next was incredibly stupid, I bought a new 116i M sport trying to be the responsible adult, 5 doors, great fuel consumption, actually cheaper a month than my S3 was due to it being on PCP with a very good discount, anyway here it is:

All was going well, baby was born etc etc then I realised I missed my power and infact the little one doesn't cost the millions of pounds I expected biggrin So here we are now and after only 7 months of ownership im currently awaiting delivery of a new M135i as I love the 1 series just need the power to go with it.

So what started off as a money saving exercise getting rid of the S3 has actually cost me a hell of a lot more in the long run BUT I really don't care and cant wait for the new car to arrive biggrin

I will update with pictures when it arrives!
