A bit of a change....

Figured seeing as i'm bored i'd post this up here (probably the most boring readers ride ever...but it might provide someone with 10 seconds of amusement.
So I used to have this wee little runaround, to cut a long story short bought this as a runaround whilst saving for a house with the missus , ended up keeping it 3 years and doing some odds and ends to make it less shopping car (stainless steel weitec coilovers, slightly bigger OEM wheels , premium tyres and some other minor odds and ends).
But all things must come to an end, and got offered a car i'd fancied for a while for less than i thought it would be...
So the Arosa was sold off for not a lot of money (but someone got a good car) and its place is probably the most hated car on PH
So yes i've now got the PH anti christ, a bloody audi s-line powered by the devils juice.
Yes its boring, has limited steering feel, and people presume i'm a photocopier salesman on a mission to make the next big sale.
But in its favour, its immaculate, comfortable, i've known its history from new, its showing a smidge over 80k on the clock and it set me back trade prices of just over £11k.
...and as for the plate i'm expecting the hatred of PH, but i stand by the fact it was cheap, makes me smile it's spaced legally, and its not that chavvy

My friends great take pride in ribbing me over the plate constantly.
Only costs so far has been the cambelt/water pump etc coming in at around £360
Costs coming up will be replacing the rear tyres as they've developed saw toothing and are a tad noisy - trying to hang it out till winter when i'll get some 16's and snow tyres, and then pick up some OEM 19's in the spring.

You made the most with the Seat and while it may be a little small for some, it had a purpose and isn't bad looking.
I like the Audi too, would be happy to have one. The plate just looks standard to most, only the year of it gives it away...I don't mind private plates anyway to be fair.

So far its been brilliant... i've only put 4k on it admittedly.
When i say i've known the car , what i should clarify is that it was my old mans fleet car, which when it was ordered in '09 i chose the spec for it! His driving style is probably best decided as gentle!
He is obsessive with his cars, cleaning them once a week, and even going as far as putting carpet mats... over the original audi carpet mats!
Other than the odd stone chip, a tiny parking dent on one door...and the odometer people seem to think its s £33k car.

As for a better buy? These were retailing with this mileage and condition at around £14k, so a saving of £3k made it a good buy in my book
