Hello Ladies and Gentlemen

After now leaving college, im now going to be getting a decent wage and really gonna start earning.

I drive a toyota yaris at the moment but want something a tad larger and with a tdi engine.

My initial reaction was a 306 td. Cheap buy cheap insurance. To buy and insure would be roughly 2 grand.

Anyone else got any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

BMW E30 325. Keep it original and its value should go up. An original one will always make me turn my head for sure.

He'll find away, it makes me weep all these young kids aspiring to such dull cars, OP go out buy a enjoyable knacker, fix it up, learn about cars and enjoy it, you have the rest of your life to buy the dull st.

I understand, however it might be ok even though it is a group 16. Other cool options which would fall into a lower insurance bracket;

Mark 1 Peugeot 106 Rallye
BMW E30 318IS

I realise these aren't Tdi, but they are still cheap to fuel.

Insurance groups seem totally useless, I can insure a BMW 750I for the same price as my BMW 318is.

The 750I is group 49/50

The 318is is group 13/20 or 32.5/50

One has a 5.0L V12 one has a 1.9L 4 cyl.
