My pride and joy, and now my daily drive once again too. Ive owned her since December 2006, started life as a bit of a unloved heap that needed lots of time, money, blood, sweat and tears to get to the stage its at currently.
Next plans are ITB's and a turbo conversion which i nearly have all the parts to complete which i shall be starting after the new year whilst she's off the road for a bit.

Its an absolute hoot to drive and it never fails to put a huge childish grin on my face.

Current spec as follows:

1242 Punto 60 Engine Conversion
Ported/Gas flowed, big valve head
Lightened buckets, double valve springs
C&B 280 High lift Camshaft
Ported/Gas flowed Inlet Manifold
36mm Throttle body
BMC cone filter
Larger injector
Uprated Fuel Pump
Superchips ECU chip
Supersprint Exh Manifold
Custom decat pipe and centre pipe
Magnex Rear Box
Magnicore leads
Thermostatic controled 10 row oil cooler
102 bhp 98 lbft torque
Factory Abarth Bodykit & Accessories
OMP steering wheel
Cobra Monaco pro seats with custon subframes
Lockwood Yellow Dials
Oil pressure and temp gauges
Vacuum gauge
Uno Turbo Brake Full Brake Conversion
Compomotive 13x5.5 Wheels
Yokohama A539 175/50/13 tyres (well scrubed in)
FK highsport coilovers
Front upper strut brace
Powerflex polly bushed suspension

Your off your rocker chap, but fair dues!! Everyone has different tastes, and it seems lots of time and passion going into it.

Have you got any figures as a target for it next year with ITB's and forced induction?

Looking at around 120 - 130 hp running around .3 bar boost on standard compression on or low compression pistons (punto 16v ones) possibly 130 - 160 hp running around .6 / .8 bar boost.

Needs a LSD 1st though as it spins the wheels a bit to much in its current set up

Yours looks like a lot of fun.

Hi Jeremy smile

@ vrooom, slam panel doesnt need any modification. To go from the 1108 to 1242 you only need to lengthen the exhaust down pipe by 20mm and its goes straight in. Around 4 hours from start to finish if you have the engine already built up to swap over.

A Cinq Sporting was my first car, loved it!

At the time there was a company called KAD who did a 1400 16v conversion, boy did I want that!

Looks great with the kit and wheels, maybe a bit meaner in black tho?

Oh man, this brings back the memories. I had 5 other the little things ranging from a 899cc SX to a 1242 swapped NA Abarth XD

Theyre great little cars, I never had the money to follow my mates and do the Van Aaken turbo. Good to see someone is still rocking along with them

Here was mine next to another of mine cloud9

Managed to find a video of my mates, he was rolling on the compos too!

Takes me back! Had one when I was 18 in the same shade. £1800 a year insurance if I remember correctly. I lasted 9 months before I changed it!

mad4amanda, you may reconise my car then? It belonged to an early clubcento member, Raymond Robinson. I have his original welcome letter and lots of old cento chats and Cinq related magazine articles.
