2013 Fiesta ST-2

After 10 months of my ST3 Focus:
I bit the bullet and purchased my new car, a 2013 Fiesta ST-2 with Style Pack.
I picked it up around three weeks ago, but had issues trying to upload images until today.
Monday saw the car getting a Mountune MP215 kit fitted (not just the badge!) at Mountune HQ, Essex
Extremely happy with the car, to the point where I have purchased an Ex Royal Mail Escort van to use when its raining! The Fiesta will stay in the garage covered up and used on dry sunny days like today.

Well I have two vans if you include my works van, a 2012 crafter. Although I'm thinking of giving up being on standy for work so I will have to give up the works van, which has been handy for the last eight years as I am allowed to use it for private mileage.
The escort van is a 2001, it's a bit of a dog but I've spent the last two days cleaning it (I'm a tad fussy) and its not too bad now. It drives surprisingly well! I'll try and get a pic up tomorrow.
It's done 125k, just had a Cambelt and major service, starter motor and a few other little bits, I paid £400 for it. It has a Pioneer head unit which is all singing/all dancing/ I fear that's worth more than the van itself.
As for the Focus, it was standard, I loved it. The sound and ST3 seats were highlights. It served me well and I took it round the Nurburgring which was fantastic. Fuel economy on a run to the ring was a record 37mpg, although normal driving saw mid 20's. The Fiesta is achieving 42mpg average and 47 on a run. Even after today's thrashing it still read 38.
I would say the fiesta is a better handling car, with the mountune upgrade I would say the Fiesta would be a fair match to my old Focus ST, until higher speeds where I would imagine the Focus would pull away.
The upgrade was well worth the money, much more low end grunt. It feels far more torquey than before. I spent my afternoon on various country b-roads in Suffolk and the more I drive the car the more I like it. As it stands now I think the performance is ample, although a chap I was chatting to at Mountune said they will be releasing a stage 2 in the future, so I might be visiting them again!
