Are they Merlin heads or just the rocker covers?

I have an interest in rover v8's wink

Wow that is crazy! How much work goes into the chassis to get it to cope? I read that the rover v8 originally had to be de-tuned when it was put in the B.

Yes they are Merlin heads. Throttle bodies and ECU are being fitted right now first start up on Monday then rolling road mapping.
The cars are very modified but the basic chassis is very strong, especially the GT.
Here it is in action with the Old Carb and distributor.

Love it! Also love watching your videos of an MGB embarrassing far more modern and what should be more capable cars on track.

I'm currently trying to tidy up a 4.0 V8 Sebring rep and have been close to selling her recently but looking at yours makes me want to sink even more funds into it!

Are you still running a standard V8 rear axle?

Yes Standard 3.07:1 diff with quafe. I have to keep my eye on the halfshafts though as they start to twist after about 12 months. Only snapped one so far.

Thanks Mark

See this car at Castle Combe very often, always the quickest car there, and very well driven.

Have watched it see off big power cosworths, evos, subarus, etc... and it does it all without a fuss.

Great car, have spoken to you a few times in the past v8bloke and you have overtaken me a fair few times also lol.

Looking forward to seeing it with the new spec
