So after discovering my GF is pregnant i decided it'd be a good idea to get something a bit cheaper to run than my Omega. I decided to go for a Volvo as I'd always had a soft spot for them.

I picked this up 2 weeks ago for just under £1000.
It has Full Volvo service history
183,000 miles
MOT'd till may

Its far from the fastest car I've ever owned but its quick enough and is saving me a fortune already. I still have my BMW E36 drift car so i don't mind so much not having a "fun" road car anymore.

Since I've got it I've really just cleaned it. Spent a day with polish getting it looking good, fitted new number plates (trimmed down), prancing moose stickers and yesterday I tinted my marker lights. Plan is to just keep it simple and clean, lower it at some point, a change of wheels and that's about it. Anyway, pictures!
(sorry they're mainly Instagram but it's all i have at the moment, I'll get better ones when the weathers a bit better)

How do you trim your number plates without getting ragged edges?

Personally, masking tape and hacksaw then sandpaper with a block of wood smile

I've still got this, It's now done 210,000 miles and is going in for its MOT tomorrow.
I'm hopeful yet nervous...
