Going to see this later as the possibly daily for the better half, wouldnt wanna pay the ticket of ourse as at this mikeage its overpriced.
Will go over the history with a fine tooth comb but what do you guys think? Later model so should have the improved inlet manifold(swirl flaps)
Avoid at all costs??

Seems a bit rich to me..

I would check the swirl flaps regardless despite age and also make sure the Dual Mass Flywheel hasn't got any issues.

Do you know how to check the swirl flaps?.

I'd avoid.

Google issues with timing belts and water pumps it doesn't make good reading!

Sorry to hijack the thread, but we've got a 150 cdti. My father bought it for his retirement and it's got a rattly DMF, im not the biggest fan of modern oil burners, but its alright.

Can they be converted to SMF without any crank wear/damage and leaving the box intact, been told that they dont have a device on the crank to stop the extra force that was taken by the DMF
