A seemingly random selection of cars

My 3 cars, a total of 56 years years old, 10 driven wheels and 7L of engines.

Firstly the newest and most interesting arrival, Mk4 R32 128,000 miles but both previous owners were are in the family and it's had whatever it's needed. Completely standard and will be staying pretty much standard. It's my commuter and weekend toy . Has full heated leather and sunroof so nice place to be and sounds awesome.





The dog carrier and other halfs commuter (I took back her bmw 116 to swap for r32 ) as can be seen in the background ^^^^^
Bought mint last year, at 10 years old with only 63,000 and not a mark on it. Perfect for snowy winters, dog carrying duties and did the 380 mils trip to newquay perfectly in June. Otherhalfs commute is over some pretty poorly maintained roads so this works perfectly.

And the long term project, '78 MGB GT. Going to be semi-sebring, low, wide wide wheels historic - racer look. Then maybe a bit of an engine transplant....

Nice little collection there.

Rare to see a standard R32 in good condition (at least round here) so might be worth holding on to in the hope that it appreciates in value

Thanks!, yes the R32 is completely standard and will be staying that way. For me if you start changing bits on them it ends up looking like a modified normal golf. Only things I may consider are very subtle to replace anything that breaks (e.g. 15mm lowering spring if the spring break).

The pictures are bit flattering as there are quite a few marks on the paintwork, never going to be a minter so going to enjoy and keep it as good as can be while in daily use.
