I wanted a nice comfy barge for the winter, but for some reason insurance said I could only have a LS400 if it had a thatcham alarm. I was thinking about a 406 coupe or XJ300, but saw this on ebay just 3 miles away for SOTW money, so naturally there was only one rational course of action.

It's a T5 GT auto and in short I absolutely love it. Electric everything, really comfy, great engine and everyone likes it. At the moment I'm just looking for excuses to go for a drive, whilst resisting the temptation to put my foot down. Only real downsides are the fuel consumption, muted engine note and massive doors that make the tight work car park rather tricky.

Love these!
Always had a hankering for a Saffron Gold one with a bit more power. Convertibles look good too with the roof down. Hell of a lot of car for the cash these days too. I tried (unsuccessfully) to convince her she really needed one of these... there's time yet though. I agree, the T5 engine is pretty hopeless on fuel. Sound terrific with a decent exhaust and an open filter though.
