That looks utterly wonderful. What's with the crossed out VIN on the last photo though?

Thank you.
The BMW Vin gets crossed out by Alpina and replaced with an Alpina Vin (the one above)

Superb. Love the seats and the fact that it's a manual. I know autos suit these barges, but I had an E39 540 auto and always wondered what it would be like to have a manual version.

Very nice indeed.

eta: as always when I see an Alpina on here, I'm off for a look on the Register...

This is my 1st Alpina (Always wanted one)

The 3.2's were only available as manual cars (the switchtronic was available with the later 3.3's)

Looks great, love the seats!

Your front strut top caps are missing smile (I think, my E39 had them anyway)

Nice! What size are those wheels? Always thought my 17s looked a bit small but they look massive!

Wow, wondered if anyone would ever buy that from circle garage. Did you pay anywhere near the asking?

Should qualify that, saw it for £5k in May 2012 when it failed to sell on eBay and I wasn't in a position to buy. Spoke to them in October 2012 when it was up for £7k and I was ready, they wouldn't negotiate.

They seemed convinced it would sell for the asking.

A year on and I was wondering which of us was right.

That looks very nice.

Went to look at a 3.3 saloon last year that looked good in the pictures. It hadn't been looked after when I got up close, just needed too much work doing. Shame really as I loved the look of it.

Got my eye on another b10 at the moment.

I like that....a lot, but then again I have a massive thing for fast estates. The ability to drive fast with you Labrador pinned to the rear windscreen really appeals (probably not so for the dog!).

This around the 265bhp mark? Not far off the 540i's pace...
