Good Evening,

I was just organising a few picture which I snapped of my MK1 Focus RS during the summer and thought I would share, I hope you all approve:

Looks great. Some nice photography. My Oldsmobile has one of these. It's always an occasion driving it.

Looks like you've got a very clean example there!

I never really got on with mine unfortunately frown

Thanks for all the positives, I'd stick my neck on the line and say it is a very clean example. It was the result of a very long hunt for a standard car.

May I ask why you didn't get on with yours? Just interested....

Still look good - I even still like the interior.
Shall have another one day when I've got room.

I'm glad you said that, it looks better now than it did then. I remember collecting my first MK1 back at the launch and thinking that the interior was well over the top and I was in my early 20's then, it aged well!

I've had three EP3's two before my first MK1 Focus and one afterward, I could never make my mind up which I preferred. I'm pleased now though, this one has got 39,000 miles on the clock and is near enough A1 condition.

Yours looked like a nice example, do you know what the build number was?

It was just never the car I thought it was going to be. I'd wanted one for so long and the end result didn't live up to the dream. The interior, particularly the seats, were awful, the ride was too hard for british B-roads and the power delivery was a bit too old school for me.

Don't get me wrong, on a good road it was brilliant and not much would keep up.

A definite future classic.
