2003 Honda Civic 1.6 VTEC Sport

Hi,
I've just spent ages polishing and waxing the car, even wet and dried the headlights to remove the crazing as we're putting it up for sale, so I thought I'd share some photos here, before it (hopefully) sells.
It's been a great daily runaround, and looks superb, despite it being 10 years old now! We've owned it for a few years, bought it with just 30,000 miles on it (now 52k) from a lady who had owned it from new. It's been perfectly reliable and has only required routine maintenance. Nothing has broken! I'd highly recommend one. The fuel economy is good, averages 40mpg on the drive to work down a few B roads, but gets more on a long run on the motorway.
It's not strictly speaking a Sport, it's an SE. But the Honda dealer in Southampton spec'd the car with the Sport bodykit and twin exhaust, which makes it look a lot better than the SE.

Thanks for the comments. It is a beauty! But it gets very well looked after in our hands!
It's history is very good, first registered owner was Southampton Honda, then it was sold to a local lady who just used it to go to work locally. It had about 30k on it when we bought it. We bought it and have put another 20,000 or so on it. It was supplied new by Southampton Honda and has only ever been there for servicing, so it's never seen another garage! We've just fitted a new battery and Honda fitted a new cam belt kit, so we're half tempted to keep it for another year! I think we'll see if we get any interest.
Yesterday I cleaned it with Autoglym shampoo and dried it with a microfibre drying towel. Then polished it with Autoglym Super Resin Polish and finally waxed it with Poor Boys Natty's Blue Paste Wax - which is excellent stuff.
Gave it a vacuum and dressed all the exterior plastics with the Autoglym plastic trim spray. I went over the headlights with a clear plastic restoration kit I had. It involves wet and drying the lenses and then working through the grades, before finishing with a polish. They look a hundred times better than before.
It scrubs up well!

I maintain what I said, it's bloody lovely! Judging by the history, it's been well looked after. I see you've also got the problem with the seats creasing on the bolsters. Annoying really, as mine have done this too and there's no way of getting them out

Best not say, as I'd probably get reprimanded for turning this into a for sale advert! It's up in the PH classifieds though, so I'm sure you'll find it!
