Try not to hate me too much, but it's a slightly stanced VW

I'v owned this for about 5 months, thought I'd post a couple of pics of it.

2003 PD150
Lowered on AP Coilovers with Staggered 18" Rota Grid Drifts

At a Pistonheads SS

At the mighty car mods meet

And some fun at Curborough

Ohh and the obligatory cracked sump for every low VW

Well the suspension doesn't look too stupid and the wheels match the car quite well even though they're too big but I'm not a fan of the stretched tyres at all. Stretching tyres is dangerous and a terrible idea, get some proper sized ones on there shout.

But then he won't be able to get his wrong offset wheels up into the wheel wells. The lowering is fine, the wheels are nice, but the combo with those tyres is just silly.

What are the wheels specs bud? Grids look sweet, are they 9.5's on the back?

How do you find the AP's? I had them on my old Polo 9N3 and found pretty stinking for the money.

Good looking car to be honest mate!

Wheels far too big for a diesel bora
Tyres too small for the wheels = ridiculous fashion which ruins ride and is potentially dangerous.
Excessively dark window tints make it look like a dodgy Eastern European drug dealer car.

Cheers

For how low it is, it actually rides very well, I do 200+ miles a week in it. 8.5's up front, 9.5's at the rear, unsure of offset. I believe 38 and 42, I'm running 15 mill spacers upfront as well.

Would look suprisingly quite nice without the tints and with normal width tyres,

It's only a light tint on the rears, and nothing on the front.

I like everything about it apart from one thing - either the back end needs to go down a bit or the front end needs to go up a bit. It looks like it has got a permanent nose-down attitude.

Apart from that - nice!

As a Golf owner the tyres are too wide for my liking ,apart from that looks ok.

It has got a nose down stance, done by the 40 profile rears and 35 fronts. But on the track picture that was under heavy braking, it isn't that bad.

Sorry, there was meant to be a hehe on the end of that. I'm no photographer either but in my eyes the blurry Saxo and the PC world sign aren't fairly sharing the limelight hehe
