I had my 05 Aero for 3.5 years and loved it; sold it to my dad when I bought my 645 in May. Actually looking forward to driving it again when I go back home for Christmas next week

They do, being a daily driver very well - mine has replaced an Alpina B10 that sold way quicker than I was expecting.

My dad had a facelift one for a few months a couple of years back.

Always liked it. Very comfortable and always liked the shape of it too. This looks nice.

Really like the shape of the these. Very handsome car that's ageing very well.

Was genuinely looking at them as a sensible(ish0 option but bought an mx-5 instead. maybe one day I'll grow up and buy something more grown-up that can actually fit other grown-ups and their stuff in

I bought a 9.3 Aero convertible 18months ago...(2006)
average so far 31.5mpg parts are pretty cheap...50% shared with the vectra/sigma.
so a pollen filter is £6 and airfilter not much more...
my young boys love the turbo urge and even the cocker spaniel loves it with the roof down...ears flapping in the wind....
even had a dinning room table in the back....(roof down...put table in...roof back up..hahaha)

Lovely. I had a black manual 2.8T which was tuned. My 335d (standard) wouldn't see which way it went in a straight line at least.

I ran an 05 Saab 93 Vector TID for two years and 40k until June of this year. They are incredibly comfy cars and eat up the miles very well. Huge boot too. Good looking cars IMO too The OP's has the front chin spoiler which looks great. Makes a big difference to the overall look of the car

I'd like to say that mine was trouble free during that time, but it just wasn't. EGR Valve, intercooler, alternator, wiper linkage and droplinks and glowplugs. The alternator and wiper linkage is quite common. Mine did have 122k when I bought it and I sold it with just shy of 170k on the clock. It was still on the original Turbo when I sold it. I know other Saab owners who have done in excess of 200k on the original turbo.

Mine only ever needed topping up with oil once. Was a pain to change the oil filter. Daft location. From memory, the petrol ones are location at the top of the engine and are a doddle to change.
