Cooper S - 1960s style

Hello all
Some of you will know that i have recently purchased this, my first Mini.
Its a 1988 Mayfair made to look like a 60s Cooper.
This has meant a respray in period colours, revert to 10 inch reverse rims and original style interior. The car is also very very low thamks to Hi-Los and uprated dampers
Engine wise its the original 998 amd im thinking of changing that soon. Still, ita great fun and in the corners it handles like a dream.
First chance to take it out today for a decent run. Since purchasing last month, i have fitted the front spots and some headlight grills.

, would certainly fool a lot of people into thinking it was a lot older (a MK3 S), even Mini enthusiasts.
