Well now the Clio Williams has been sold I needed a stter to get me around and about when I wasn't using the VX.

I opted for this for £330

It needs/needed some new wheel trims, a timing chain kit, brake lines and a bloody good T-Cutting. So I got all the mechanical stuff sorted this week and spent 6 hours today with the T-Cut. If anyone ever wanted to punish someone, I'd recommend this job. My arms are killing me and my hands are shaking like a bees wing!

Anyway it ended up like this...

Granted, it's not very PH but having had a ruinous Clio Williams and an even more ruinous 996 I had to strip back and pay back a bit of the debt I've accumulated. Going to look at putting my eye for detail into appreciating assets as opposed to depreciating ones!

Anyway, as it stands this car owes me £613.94

A true PHer, taking pride even in the cheap run around. Enjoy cheap motoring, I've been told it can be quite fun. I really ought to try it one day and stop running up debts.

Never seen a faded red Vauxhall, that's a new one to me hehe

Nice to see you taking the time and effort with this; bit of a bargain for the cash.

You've done very well there, could make a few hundred as profit if you wanted (not worth it)

May i ask where you sourced her? A 1.0i 12v, specifically the 'Comfort' like yours but with 5 doors will probably be my first car as it's one of the rare sheds that is in insurance group 1

I guess it's something someone only does the once! I can't lift my left arm higher than my shoulder today and I was supposed to be cleaning the VX but I don't think I can.
