2001 Integra Type R DC2
Discussion
Does it count as nostalgia if it's only 3 and a half years since you last had that thing?
Well, in this case I'd agree that it is. I've bought another Integra Type R. I couldn't resist.
He's (yes, he - DC2s definitely have a boy personality) one of the very last DC2s registered in the UK, being January 2001. Number 6530.

To do:

Still miss my old one, especially when I see threads like this.
Is this one a keeper? Looks a good one OP.
I would love to get another, get it mint and keep it.
It is nearly mint as it is. Just a few touch-up items then I will keep it. Is this one a keeper? Looks a good one OP.

For sake of comparison, I drove my DC2 back to back with my Z4M tonight. The DC2 is frenetic and alive in your hands, but the Z4 is brutally fast in a straight line...but lacks in the communication in the corners.
On my drive I've got 16,500rpm, 10 cylinders & 530BHP. It's almost an F1 car...but in two

I was fortunate to have a DC2 integra when they were new in 2000, looking back through all the cars I've owned, it's the one I drove the quickest, the hardest , enjoyed every time I got in it and like to remember.
I once used a1/4 tank of fuel between one junction on the M1, must have had a fuel leak

Lovely looking example and I approve of your mods. That front H badge (albeit expensive) will make the car look an awful lot better.
Has it had the bushes and dampers/springs overhauled in it's life? If not, then you should get saving as a 94k DC2 will be shagged compared to what it should feel like.
Not much needed for the engine, you've already got rid of the horrible and heavy (25kg) UK manifold, but I would suggest you get some HEL braided hoses for the front, put some new fluid in like ATE Super Racing Blue (much better value and similar stats to the expensive RBF600) and get some proper brake pads. The Carbone Lorraine RC5+ are incredible and work perfectly well with OEM type blank discs at £50 a pair.
Get the suspension and brakes overhauled, have the Geo setup by someone who knows what they're doing, then enjoy.
Even though I have an M135i coming shortly, I'm still in love with my DC2 and will keep it as a 2nd car for blasts in the Highlands up here in Scotland and for some track work. I'd regret selling her as almost all past owners do.
Over on ITR-DC2 I hope?
