So I've had this for about four months now, thought I would post some pictures as I was out with the camera in the fog today!

Previous cars were an EK9 Civic Type R followed by a mk1 Focus RS. VX is obviously quite different in many ways, have to admit I love it!

Some pictures:

I've written a little review of the car for anyone interested:

Hopefully many more months motoring to come.

Great cars. I bought a silver NA at Christmas. It has 16/17 TD wheels, Gaz coilovers, a VSE and a few other bits. It's the least powerful car I've owned in years but it never fails to put a smile on my face with the bonus of being dirt cheap to run. Have you disconnected the ABS?

It has a VSE, Gaz coil overs and staggered TD's so fairly similar! Yea I'm not too sure what the best ABS solution is, what have you done? Have you got an aftermarket heater? I've got the one from the VX220.org forum but it was on it when I bought it so have nothing to compare to.

Small world with it being a mates old car!

I just disconnected my abs. I had one incident going into a corner at speed and the brakes didn't work. I drove home and disconnected the abs straight away.

As for the heater I'm not sure if it still standard. I didn't have a problem so it's not something I've looked at.

I'm using it for a 200 mile commute every 4 days. It's not the most comfortable but it's great fun

I almost bought one but the headroom was too limited for all 6 foot 3 of me. I'm considering a new Elise in a couple of years which I believe will give me more headroom with probax seats although I haven't looked into it too much so unsure at present.

Enjoy your VX220 - feel good factor every time you drive it!
