Hi there,
My first post here after being content just to browse the forums for many years now. I'm a huge Ford fan and been into track days and modifying/tuning since my first car so I'll post a few pics/specs of each
My first car - A 2000 'X' reg Fiesta Zetec S
Looking back probably a bit silly for a first car at 18 but I learned a lot and ended up stripping it out into a track day car
I then got a pay rise at work and decided a new car was needed, wanted a Turbo this time so enter the Focus St
It was totally standard, 27k on the clock, Fsh and in pretty good nick
Unfortunately at the time having two cars wasn't feasible so I broke the fiesta for parts, looking back I wish I'd kept it as I have an itch for another one as it handled like a go kart.
I said from the start I would keep the Focus standard but over the last three years it's been through various guises and now sits around 320bhp with AP Racing brakes, Focus RS injectors and spark plugs, a Group A air filter, up rated Intercooler and full 3" turbo back exhaust with a 200 cell sports cat.

I stupidly sold the Compomotive alloys and it's back on standard wheels at the minute until I decide a replacement

Looks very nice..blue would have been my 2nd choice after orange.

Mine is standard apart from a non-res cat-back Cobra exhaust. Have resisted the temptation..so far, to extract more power.
You have though...is it worth while?

Nice cars. Mine is just fantastic. Great place to ride. Has a few quirks, but all cars do. You can 'molest' a car and still looks factory. Mine has the MP260 Mountune, which is just sublime. No massive boost spikes and high boost temps like a lot of the aftermarket stuff. 200 Cell cat and Ferrita exhaust. Although the photo shows the resonator pipe, that's all been removed and all the boost pipes are black silicon. I cannot believe any boost gets through the pipe from the intercooler to inlet tract. Boost hose changed has made the boost quicker to spool up and a lot smoother. AS air filter also. It does get pretty hot under the bonnet, so not sure how an open filter will work on yours, as not much air can get in behind the headlight with an undertray on. Its a lot heavier than the Fiesta you had and like you say, not as nimble. They aren't 'really' track cars, but in a straight line they can move at a good pace and upset many potent cars. I have the whiteline arb on the rear and Eibach springs and camber plates on mine which makes it just as smooth ride but less roll. Both great products.
