My Clio Williams 3 recommissioning thread

Inspired by some of the great threads on here and in a desperate attempt to avoid buying an another car this summer (!), after five years in the garage I've decided that it's time to get my low mileage Clio Williams back on the road. Since I totally lack the time and moreover the skills for the job, I'm paying a specialist restorer. They specialise in Porsches, but seem to really know their stuff!
The plan is to get it back to as new over the next 3 months, drive it for a bit and then get some engine work done as I never found the motor free-revving enough for my liking. I've asked for photos along the way, so hopefully will have lots to share! I'm excited!
Anyway, here's it tucked away in my parent's garage looking sorry for itself.
And here's it out of the garage a few weeks ago, with my (also crocked) C2S.

Great news to hear of another Williams being brought back to life.
I've had a Williams2 for over 12 years and was my daily driver for 6 until the rust worm appeared couldn't bear to scrap it so became a project.
It was an absolute ball to drive it on the Welsh roads flinging in to bends with the car harmoniously working you no matter what you through at it. Driving to its limits felt natural. Oh yes the seats were very comfy.
Dom where are you with your car. Have you managed to sort things out with P4cks

Reminds me of the Williams3 I had which had lots of resto work done to make it drive as well as when it was new. It was a terrific car to thrash down familiar country lanes, at the same time I had a 182 Cup and a DC2 so it was fun to compare the three together. The 182 cup was not as good as the Williams3 which was no where near as good as the Integra.
Your car looks very nice keep hold of it long term values will go up soon!

Simple answer is 'nowhere' at the moment. Fly back to the UK in 12 days and pull it out of storage the next day.It needs a jump and some fuel and then I'll find out what, exactly, needs doing.
I haven't contacted P4cks since Paintgate and he hasn't contacted me... I'll update in a couple of weeks!
