BMW 330Ci (E46)

Having been a long-term lurker on the forums, I finally decided I should really make a readers' cars thread!
I started off driving in a 3 door 1.2 Corsa C, affectionately named "Trevor", but decided that was definitely too un-PH to make a thread about. It was black, pretty much standard bar an enormous subwoofer and some parts from a higher spec model, and was, well, it was a Corsa. To give it it's due though, it was pretty much faultless the entire time I owned it (apart from a slight mishap where a wheel fell off at about 40mph. Check your wheel bolts, everyone).
My sister recently turned 17 and so needed a car to learn to drive in. Step forward Trevor. This gave me the opportunity to spend the money that i'd just happened to spent the last year saving (what a coincidence...), on something a bit more exciting.
That picture was taken the day after I got her home. Saw the car on Autotrader on Monday, drove down to Yorkshire on the Wednesday with a friend and bought it, in the wet, and the dark, from a nice chap called Tom. No idea if he's a PHer or not. It's not without it's flaws, a few scrapes and dents that are to be expected on a 10 year old car, and there's the classic E46 leaky cooling system that is slowly getting replaced (running a 3.0 petrol six on a student budget is taxing to say the least), but it's a great car.
Today she looks much the same. Still unsure about the black grilles (they came already on the car), but I have the chrome ones that i'll try on when I have the time. The fog lights were full of condensation and so instead of forking out for a new set at the moment, they are wrapped with a gloss black vinyl, which matches the trim so doesn't look too bad. I replaced the yellowing aftermarket black roundels and centrecaps with some blue ones and got my personalised plates on, but until funds allow, that's all that's happening for the foreseeable future. Well, when I get a bit of time, the front bumper grille needs replacing due to a slight bird-related impact.
