I must say I have the best wife.........in the world!
For our 3rd year anniversary she suggested we drive 4 hours to look at an RX7 that was up for sale. The car is just about to go through a full engine rebuild and we had the opportunity to spec the car to our liking (he breaks and rebuilds RX's)
So car in its current state
Not bad for something 20 years old
It's going to have the bonnet resprayed as it has gone all pink due to decals.
A facelift front is going on
Along with a the facelift rear wing
The interior is being put back to standard and was completely stripped out when we saw the car.
Finally the engine will be running an Apexi ECU so that any further mods like Decats etc can be done and mapped for accordingly.
Just waiting to hear how long the build is going to take.
First thing on the to do list will be checking bushes and upgrading the brakes/suspension.
