I was actually going to spend some money on my old Volvo V70, re-gas the AC and actaully travel some on my holiday, instead using proper man maths I bought a BMW 750, using up pretty much all my savings on a car that has a few issues. But in the grand scheme of things its not that bad, it's very nice in fact. Orient blau/Schwartz, 1995, four owners since new and in very nice nick, the interiour especially looks like brand new, not a tear, scratch or scuff to be seen. The to-do list is not long as of now, but the front lights need sorting asap as the previous owner installed some horrendeous looking chromed out monstrosities so I've got an order for new ones on eBay, a worn droplink is getting sorted this upcoming week aswell as new front tires. So far I'm chuffed, comfy, fast and good looking car that. Likes a bit of a drink though, think Lemmy or Keith Richards and you'll get the idea

Love it
Engine is a masterpiece, smooth as silk, quiet and fast(ish), ride is awesome, need a few bits and bobs on the front suspention as mentioned, but I'll get that sorted way cheaper then expected on wednesday, then it's just to enjoy it over the summer and fix the rest of the niggles over the winter months, of which there are many in this country of mine...
@TBC, I can handle sarcastic remarks
buying a soon 20 year old V12 barge is not a sign of supreme smartness I guess, but hell, you only live once
