My 2006 2.0TFSI Audi A3

Finally got round to getting my first car. So much better than sharing with mum!

52k miles, its the special edition (not quattro though) so it has full leather and the Bose sound system. Full service history and recently serviced. BBS Split rim wheels. Had the cam belt changed previously and the thermostat is now done after failing just after I bought it! ): to which the garage fully refunded me for.

Great first car! A friend have mine had the diesel version that was fairly well specced and they are very nice car to be in. Hope you enjoy it

The two-piece wheels are made by Speedline, not BBS .
Enjoy it- the TFSI engine is great when taken care of.

Hmmm - it's got s-line badges all over it...is it a Special Edition with S-line option (or just the badges )

How does it ride? My A3 Sport (totally standard) rides as if they haven't bothered fitting any suspension at all - just back from a short M-way trip and I was being shaken about all over the place by the rock hard suspension. Special edition should be softer (Sport is lower and stiffer) but S-line is lower and stiffer still IIRC.

As for travelling on local A/B roads, it's just awful.

Sorry I should have said, its full name is 2.0TFSI Audi A3 S-line Special Edition! and yes the ride is really rather hard! However I don't mind it, and it is a lot worse in the back when I have passengers on the odd occasion!

I have the same car but the Quattro model, I find the build quality terrible but I do like the way it goes when the foot goes down. Also my wife loves it so I'm not allowed to sell it .

The build quality for me is fine, I'm very confident that it will last the miles too as my dad has an 06 2.0T A4 which I beleive is the same set up, and that's still comfortably running with 120 odd k on the clock. But yes my mrs loves it too!
