Here's my Mazda V Special, I got her about 6 years ago, she only comes out in the summer and only when it's sunny. It's an 1800 and an automatic. It's done 80,000 miles and is mechanically perfect, It had done 62,000 6 years ago! So far, she's had new coilovers, new drilled and grooved disks with new calipers and handbrake cables, sports s/s exhaust, new hood, lazy eye lights, central locking, immobiliser, serviced every year using fully synthetic oil, Pioneer mp3 flip front, white dials and all the chrome bit's etc..

That's a very nice interior. Especially given it's Japanese. Looks like a very nice place to be, any more photos?

Here's some more! She's had new coilovers since these were taken and sits a bit lower.

Yes she's lovely, her-in-doors finds it difficult to get in and out of it now, she'll be 65 next week, she hinted about a change.

MX-5's not to my taste I'm afraid - sorry!! - but I just can't get my head around this one. Was the chrome detailing on it originally or is it aftermarket? To me it looks far too fussy. Like the leather seats as it's not often you see that on an MX5 of this age but the detailing around the speakers doesn't do it for me.

Sorry!!

The speaker surrounds are part of the v special standard spec. as are the leather seats, speakers in the headrests, air-con, power steering, chrome kickplates, nardi steering wheel, but the other chrome parts and the gear knob are aftermarket,,

Fair enough. Everyone's got their own taste and MX5's aren't mine but I do appreciate people looking after their cars, which you obviously do yours.

And at least you haven't put some black f'king wheels on it!! Hate, hate, hate black wheels!!
