I have recently acquired a free project car, having had a look at it it requires some front suspension components, a few bushes and that's about it. As a bonus it has an mot until the end of October and it mostly not rusty.
its on a 52 plate and has 160,000 miles-ish so barely run in.
I am now having to think of what to actually do with it.

I have managed to get the car through an MOT today with £30 worth of parts a bit of a bargain!,
there seems to be no evidence of the cracked exhaust manifold i was told it had but only time will tell.
My next move is to run it until it blows up and generally have a laugh with it.

I have been driving this car daily for a week now, and have fixed none of the issues other than those that have caused problems in getting an mot or drive-ability.
My first impressions are RWD is very good fun, and this is a big old bus compared to a polo.
It is only averaging 20mpg so far which seems a little low but not alarmingly so.
Shed motoring is great, i just hope it lasts me over winter so i can get something better in a few months and allow someone else to have their fun with it.
