I've been shedding, It's meant as a stop gap until I find a nice Alfa 147 2.0 Lusso in a colour and spec combo I like thumbup

300 Quid's worth of Toyota Carina. Meticulously looked after by previous owner, proper old school chap. Few cosmetic bits need attention but not really bothered.

Much to good to scrap so it'll probably end up staying even when the ideal 147 has been found. It's on 170k miles so obviously it's going to burst into flames any minute now and nobody'll buy it anyway.

These things go on forever, there is a reason why they were popular as taxis, I remember my dad working on my uncles and his neighbours ones and saying how well made they were, but sleep inducing to drive biggrin

That is a bargain for £300, it still has another 130k of late night unlicensed taxi work in front of it.

Looks like a very good buy at that money. Was once in one of these with 800000 miles on it. Wasn't a triggers broom situation either was still on original engine and gearbox.

Cracking find! Not exactly common these days, but as above famous mini-cab cars so reliable as hell!

I love it! And a whole car cheaper than some pay for a pair of tyres wink

I'm loving it, only my 2nd ever 'big' car. The quietness and ability to have a conversation whilst driving is great smile

They do indeed seem rare, trying to find a few parts is proving difficult frown If anyone knows of someone breaking one please let me know thumbup

What spec/colour do you want on your 147?
