Thought I may as well chuck some pictures of my E46 as it's a bit of a PH favourite and I do nothing at work.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) for me I think it'll be a car I'm stuck with for life, I've tried recently to sell it and get something else but it does everything so well and is as reliable as old boots, so I can't face/justify it.

Mileage is coming up to 135k, but it's still sitting pretty...

It's a colour that suits the shape. Mine is on 120k now and starting to look a bit rough and unloved.

Nice, I think it's perhaps sitting a bit too low for my tastes but looks a beautiful example.

Looks great though non matching front and rear lights looks a bit odd.

I may be in the minority but the Style 72 are my favourite E46 wheel.

I really like that smile looks to be in lovely condition too. Would happily swap mine for that spec, though I presume you don't fancy it!

What spring/damper combination is it on?

Thanks all. Had gone to see a man about an E63 650 earlier in the month, lovely vehicle but driving away in the E46 left me wondering why I was bothering, so turned around and got my deposit back. Don't think I could live with an automatic and I-Drive at the end of the day.

It's running FK coilovers, cheap as they come but have lasted a good two years and the ride isn't much different so it appears they're up to task. As mentioned it is a bit low, but it hasn't caught on anything thus far, one meaty road kill carcass notwithstanding.

Lovely looking car, great to see one in red and not silver!

Looks like you've looked after it and it's not rusty - I've always fancied an E46 330 so if you do decide to sell, drop me a PM wink

Looks good - love Imola. Will look even better with the correct front indicators and repeaters.

Beautiful car.

I get your sentiments exactly. I've got a 2003 330Ci which I've had for 8 years. Now on 126k miles. Looked to move it on a couple of years back but got rubbish trade in offers.

I continue to spend far more on it than it's worth. Currently in the bodyshop having minor rust seen to and having the front bumper/ spoiler assembly re-sprayed.

Beautiful, love the amber fronts!

How much were you selling it for out of interest?

Never actually got to that stage, but I figure around 3k would be right. They seem to have held their value remarkably well.

Very nice car OP, I will definately own one of these one day. The shape just doesn't seem to date, and I'm quite fond of the Ambers as most don't have them.

Exhaust is standard, just fit some £13 eBay Audi A4 tips slotted over the originals. Don't tell anyone wink

I was sat in traffic next to an Imola red 325Ci last week (with the same wheels as yours). Looked incredible.

I don’t blame you for hanging onto it.

Very clean looking, good choice of colour too but not so keen on the ambers. Smoked depos might look good?
