My scond hand 2013 F-Type V8
Discussion
Hi,
I've had my F-Type V8 now for a couple of months......

It replaced a Audi R8 V8, impressions so far when the noisy button pressed the noise is amazing, far better than the R8. The colour has grown on me, at first I wasn't sure but now I love it.
A few issues have happened so far...
1. Squeeky exhaust
2. Brake light came on indicating worn pads!
3. Drivers seat bolster shows signs of wear
The squeeky exhaust was fixed no problem by the dealer & the brake light indicator was fixed it was due to a cable became disconnected.
I'm still waiting fr the Drivers seat bolster to be fixed, but JLR have agreed it shouldn't have worn and are currently finding the parts to replace.
Overall though the car has so much more personality than the R8, i can powerslide it on roundabouts which is great fun.
As my ownership goes on I will try and add to this post

That looks fantastic! I drove an R8 V8 S-Tronic earlier this year and the next weekend an F-Type (only the V6S, no V8) and I much preferred the F-Type for it's personality.
I love that colour too!
Mind me asking how many miles it has done for the seat to be showing such signs of wear?

So far it's done just over 21,000 miles, still waiting for the dealer to contact me to get the side bolsters changed.I love that colour too!

I'll dig out some more pics.
Had a traffic light GP with an M3 and when I floored it it easily beat it on acceleration :-) Although didn't have much traction though
