This arrived last week and I can't stop grinning. Eveything I want in a car at the moment. Nice turn of pace, nice noise for what it is with great handling. Put simply it's plain and simple fun.
I actually pick up the key looking forward to the journey. Already over the 500 mile mark. Comfortable enough on the motorway. It really comes alive when on a decent road.

Thanks. It is a great car. I'm not sure why people moan about the ride. I find it okay and even slept in the back.
The only thing I need is a spare wheel kit, but I have a brace, jack etc from a Mondeo.
So just need the wheel. I've a four stud wheel in the shed from a MK4 Astra, but most likely it won't fit.

That is true. Drove into London yesterday. Nice enough in town and pulls away nicely and is still a nice size. Even with three to four passengers I find there is enough room. Liking this little car more and more. As expected really, but frustrating as you don't like crawling along in Lonodn traffic.
Not really sure what else to say. Other than the fact that I took another photo at Lakeside. I was picking something up from the shop though. May have stopped for a burger as well. 
Love the car. Only niggle is the stone chip that I picked up. I don't tailgate :"so it's just one of those things. The other was that five months in I became annoyed at the jiggly/crashy ride. 30mph road and it was a bit annoying. Doesn't haooen often enough, but when it does it grates.
First proper drive will be to Wales in the summer to do some sight seeing and driving. Otherwise I've been driving local Essex Roads. Also I may have become a bit OCD about detailing at an amateur level.

I've had the car for a year now.
I walk up the drive some days and think, "I'll go for a drive". I honestly don't know what to do when the lease is up next year. Buy one maybe? Although I like the look of the new Mustang/Focus RS.
