Afternoon all.

Long time lurker, first time poster;

I currently have £4000 searing a hole in my pocket and three weeks to find something. Able to travel nationwide (Wal/Eng).

Basic requirements;

Accommodate two dogs (hatch/estate)*
Two MTBs*
Camping gear*
Low(ish) maintenance
0-60 in less than 11s.

  • Not necessarily at the same time.
I'll update my garage this afternoon to give you a flavour of my car history.

I should think that this would fit the bill quite well. Add a roof rack and you're away

Didn't have to do anything other than basic servicing to our Civic and we had it for a good few years.

Lol true, although the v8 allroad is a hell of a lot more reliable than the 2.7tt and 2.5tdi

Cheers chaps, some very attractive propositions thus far.

Type R is tempting but I'd ruin it with the bikes and doglets. Better ruin it that way than let it fall in to the hands of Barry and his broom handle spec mods?

I like the legacy but Scotland is just that bit too far from Cardiff.

The Alpina is a fine beast but it looks a bit needy to say the least, I've already got a frauline with that trait.

Allroad doesn't do anything for me.
